Crock Pot Beef Roast

Crock Pot Beef Roast

After a long day of work, there is nothing better than coming home to a cooked meal. The aroma when you first open that door is priceless. There is no way you can mess this recipe up or over-season the meat because it’s a big hunk of beef.
You can serve this with potatoes or rice, but you can easily keep it keto and enjoy the beef with my Cauliflower Risotto

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 lbs boneless beef chuck
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tbsp mushroom powder Trader Joes
  • 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp red wine (optional)
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 onion

Sprinkle the beef with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, mushroom powder, chicken bouillon. Pour the tomato sauce over the beef. Add the carrots, onion, and celery. Cook on low for 8 hours

After, 8 hours transfer the liquid to a pan and simmer until the sauce reduces to half. Add the wine and butter and simmer for another 2 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Pour the sauce on top of the meat when serving.
